I was an educator for well over 20 years. I closed the doors to my 3rd grade classroom in June of 2021. One would assume that Covid was the reason for my 3rd gr. doors closing, but in fact, that virus actually led me to my desire of learning how to decorate cookies. I watched every video, purchased classes, bought all the tools, and got lost in the cookie world… far away from the gripping reality of quarantining, Zoom, hyflex classrooms, and family challenges. Life happened, my mom’s health took a turn, & it was then that I chose to make more time to take care of my mom and my own well-being.
My passion for creating things crept up on me and before I knew it, I was decorating cookies for everyone! Orders started trickling in. I’m so very grateful for all of them that have come in. And my repeat customers have meant the world to me.
